3. Personal data that we process:

TWN-TEC processes your personal data for the purpose of you using our services and/or because you have provided us these data yourself.

An overview of the personal data that we process is outlined below:

– first name and surname;

– address;

– telephone number;

– email address;

– bank account number.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process: None.

Our website and/or services do not intentionally collect the data of visitors under the age of 16 without the express permission of their parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents and guardians to monitor the online activities of their children, to prevent the collection of data from minors without parental permission. If you have reason to believe that we have collected data from a minor without parental permission, please contact us at info@TWN-TEC.com so that we can delete this information.

4. With which aim and on what basis we process personal data:

TWN-TEC processes your personal data with the following aims:

– to process your payment; 

– to phone or email you if this is needed when carrying out our service provision;

– to inform you about changes to our services and products;

– to deliver goods and services to you.

– TWN-TEC also processes personal data where legally required, such as data for our tax returns. 

5. Automated decision-making:

TWN-TEC does not make decisions about matters that could have (considerable) consequences for persons on the basis of automated processes. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems without human interference (for instance, supervision by a TWN-TEC employee). 

6. How long we store personal data:

TWN-TEC does not store your personal data for any longer than necessary to achieve the goals for which your data are collected. We enforce the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

Name, telephone number and address > at least 7 years > these data must be saved for the Tax and Customs Administration.                         

Bank account number + VAT number > at least 7 years > these data must be saved for the Tax and Customs Administration.

Correspondence > at least 7 years > these data must be saved for the Tax and Customs Administration and are used when handling orders.

7. Sharing personal data with third parties:

TWN-TEC only shares personal data with third parties if this is necessary for executing our agreement with you or to satisfy legal obligations. 

Cookies or similar technologies that we use:

TWN-TEC does not use cookies or similar technologies.

8. View, adjust and delete your personal data:

You have the right to view, correct and request the deletion of your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing, to make a complaint about the processing of your personal data by TWN-TEC and to transfer your data. The latter means that you can submit a request for us to send a digital file containing the personal data that we have stored about you to yourself or an organisation of your choosing. 

You can send your request to view, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or to withdraw your consent for or make a complaint about the processing of your personal data, to: info@TWN-TEC.com.

To make sure that you are the person who has submitted the request, we kindly ask that you attach a copy of your ID to your request. In this copy, you should black out your passport photo, machine readable zone (the strip with numbers at the bottom), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is for privacy protection. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, in any case within four weeks.

9. How we secure personal data:

TWN-TEC takes the securing of your personal data seriously and takes suitable measures to counter misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have reason to believe that your data are not secured properly or that there are indications of misuse, then please contact our customer service or send an email to info@TWN-TEC.com. TWN-TEC takes the following measures to secure your data: 

– the use of security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall;

– the use of TSL (previously SSL): We send your data through a secure internet connection. This is visible in the URL (‘https’) and the padlock icon shown in the URL bar.

10. Adjustments to this privacy statement:

Privacy legislation is evolving. We may therefore also adjust this privacy statement to remain up to date. We will do so in the case of new developments, for instance if a change takes place in our business activities, in legislation or in the judiciary. We therefore recommend that you regularly re-read this privacy statement when visiting one of our websites.
